Feasts of Israel

Rosh Hashana, Jewish New Year 5776

Just now as sunset is coming on, Rosh Hashana has just begun, the Jewish New Year of 5776.  This holiday is celebrated every year with the blowing of the shofar, even the same as it was done when the Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ walked upon the face of the earth.  This was also a time that Israel coronated its kings, and it was also a time that the people prepared for Yom Kippur, a high holy day for repentance.  Rosh Hashana is really just a one day feast day.  ‘However, the Sanhedrin would send out messengers to inform people that the new moon had been seen; but sometimes the messengers would actually be late by an entire day.  So by the time of the 12th century, Rosh Hashana was extended to a two day feast which was considered to be just one incredibly long day’ History.com .

Good food is an integral part of the celebrations; namely, challah (pronounced ‘hollah’) bread and apples dipped in honey which represents a ‘sweet new year’ and as such, the participants bless each other with sayings such as, “Shana Tovah,” meaning ‘A good new year.’  Some participants stand by a body of water and cast the contents of their pockets out onto the water which represents the casting away of their sins.

The next ten days are considered to be ‘high holy days’ in preparation for the culmination of Yom Kippur.  Rosh Hashana is also a ‘serious time to ask oneself if you have strayed from the path of righteousness.  How can one return and be better in the coming new year?  It is a wake-up call to wake up those that are sleeping and could have done better’ History.com.

So light some Shabbat candles and serve some apples and honey for a sweet new year.

The Ten Commandments: Are they still relevant? – Part 16

Since we have been looking closely at the various Scriptures that pertain to the laws of God and as we are finally going to wrap this series up, let us look at Galatians, which is a book that is consistently cited in that total grace-ites state that this book definitively declares that the laws of God have ended.  Really?  Did they?  Let’s see.  First of all, before we go into the book of Galatians, let’s establish our ground work first; of course, these articles have already covered these Scriptures, but we will list them again.

Matthew 5:17

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

John 14:15

If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John 14:21

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Now the diehard grace-ite will be the first to argue and say that this was written to Israel and not to the church.  Really?  Using that same logic, then Jesus Christ himself said that He had come to the lost sheep of Israel.  Oh-Oh!  Houston…we have a problem!  That doesn’t include the Gentiles if one has to be fair at this  point.  Now what?  Okay, one more Scripture so that we can all know that everyone can get a ticket and get on board the GodShip Gospel Line.

Romans 11:17-18

And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.

Paul writes that the Gentiles have been grafted into the root stock of Israel.  Why?  So that we can receive all of the promises and requirements and that they are made available to us as well.  This writer finds it very interesting that those who deny that we have to obey God’s commandments are more than willing to claim the goodness of the Abrahamic and Davidic covenants as well as the new covenant written with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, but those same people want nothing to do with the laws of God.  We offer our condolences to you at this point…simply because you cannot have your cake and eat it too, my friends.  You either take the whole Word of God or please don’t take any of it; we are not allowed to pick and choose which Scriptures we would like to have and throw out the ones that make us squirm.  But unfortunately, this is exactly what has happened.  Many pastors and teachers have taught the populace that the Scriptures should be viewed as something akin to a Smorgasbord or items on an À la carte menu.  All of the Scriptures make up a whole body of evidence and you simply cannot dissect the Word of God, no matter how badly you may wish to do so.

Let us now define some terms that often cause confusion.  These terms were not clear to this writer either growing spiritually mature in the church; this writer simply didn’t know what they meant.  If the question was asked of those who were supposed to be more learned, the answer generally given was doing the laws of God.  Exactly, what does that mean?  Who knew…probably no one understood it, nor could define it when asked to do so.  This is why this writer walked around in a fog for most of the years waiting to grow up.

What are they and what do they mean?

There are two terms that are the same thing, but they use two different words and they are:

works of the law…and…deeds of the law

simply pertain to the sacrificial portion of the law.  Every Israelite male was to continually offer up the Passover sacrifice; the Yom Kippur sacrifice; they were to make peace offerings, heave offerings, free-will offerings, etc. etc.  By doing so they  would attain to righteousness and have their sins, transgressions and iniquities covered up by the blood of the animal offered.  But too many people have been taught that this pertains to the entire Law of God and not to just one portion, thereby ‘ending’ the Law of God because we are told that we cannot be justified by the ‘deeds or the works of the Law.”  This is true if applied to the sacrificial portion of the Law.  These works or deeds were Israel “working out their own salvation” if you will in an attempt to make themselves righteous, even though it was available to be made righteous through faith, but they couldn’t receive it and so they focused on the works and therefore they were never justified.  Christians however, accept the “atoning works of the Lord Jesus Christ” and we accept by faith that His perfect blood has made us righteous through Him and therefore we are made justified.

This is going to shock a lot of people….but oh, well.  But hold on, this writer will explain.  The sacrificial portion of the law didn’t end either.  WHAT?  No, it did not.  It TRANSFERRED from the tribe of Levi to the Tribe of Judah, and the Ha Mashiach, Yeshua Adonai (or Christ Jesus) on the appointed Passover, at the time of sacrifice, did not offer up an animal but offered up Himself, and His own perfect blood seeing that He also became our High Priest.  He is also our eternal High Priest because the Scriptures plainly state Yeshua was after the priestly order of Melchisedec.

Hebrews 3:1, 5:1, 5:6

Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins: As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Now that that particular truth is established…here is one more for those that may not know these things: there were three parts of God’s laws.  First, there was the Ten Commandments (or the moral laws); Second, there were the food laws, which were established to teach Israel on how to choose between the holy and the unholy, or the clean and the unclean, plus, it was also in place to keep Israel healthy in their physical bodies; and the Third, there was the sacrificial laws pertaining to the forgiveness of the sins of Israel.  The Ten Commandments have never ended; the food laws have been modified, at least for the Gentiles coming into the church, but still having to keep some of them for the sake of their Jewish brothers and sisters, which we find in Acts 15.  The third portion did not end but merely transferred to Yeshua Adonai who became the High Priest and the sacrifice that year.  His office of High Priest has still not ended even to this day, for He acts on our behalf and when we humble ourselves and confess our sins, He goes before the Heavenly Father and presents His perfect blood on the altar so that we may obtain forgiveness.

There is still so much more to cover and we did not even get to the book of Galatians as hoped for and therefore this will have to be continued in Part 17.  God Bless.

Celebrating Purim, the Feast of Esther, March 4-5, 2015

Feast of Esther by RembrandtEsther, the young Jewish girl who was chosen by Ahasuerus, King of Persia to become his new wife; since his other wife, Vashti, had been exiled and most likely executed when she refused to appear naked before the king’s guests, wearing only her crown.  This occurred at a drinking feast that the king had prepared that would last a full 180 days with a separate feast for the women held by the queen.  As the Book of Esther reveals that Esther was a young Jewish maiden being raised by her uncle, Mordecai, who instructed her that she was not to reveal her ethnic heritage when she appeared before the king.  Esther, along with all of the other young girls that had been chosen to compete for the king’s marriage announcement went through a long process of preparation of baths, oils, lotions, perfumes; all of this being done with the hope to ready themselves for the night that they would spend with the king.

As the story progresses, Mordecai uncovers a plot by two assassins plotting to kill Ahasuerus; so he reports this to Esther who in turn informs the king.  As the plot thickens, Haman who was of the lineage of Amalekites, and he therefore hated the Jews, had to honor Mordecai for his good deed.  At first, Haman thought he was the one to be honored, and so made the reward very rich, only to find out that the king was speaking about Mordecai.  Of course, because of his hatred for Jewish people, he sped up his plans to annihilate all of the Jews in Ahasuerus’ kingdom.  Haman had “cast lots”, or “purim” so that all of the Jews in the kingdom would be executed on the 13th day of Adar. Haman’s plot became known to Mordecai, and so he asked Esther to intercede for the Jewish people before the king.

Esther 4:14

For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

According to Persian law, no one could approach the king without a direct invitation.  To do so was to risk imminent death, unless the king extended his scepter towards the uninvited; if the king did so, then the person could approach the king to make the request.  Esther knew that if she went into the throne room without the personal invitation, though she was the queen, she was risking her life.

So in preparation, Esther requested that all of the Jewish people should fast for three days, including her maidservants; which after it was completed, she said,

Esther 4:16

Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.

Esther then invited her husband, the king, and her enemy, Haman to a feast.  She makes a request that they come again the next day.  It is at this second feast that she reveals that she is Jewish and it is revealed that it is this Haman who wants to kill her and her people through the decree that he wrote and had the king sign and seal it with his signet ring.  Of course, the king is angry and leaves the room.  Then Haman rises and leans over Esther’s couch where she is reclining to beg for his life; it is this scene that the king sees as he returns, and thinking that Haman is making inappropriate advances to his queen, the king issues Haman’s execution.  Haman had built these very gallows that he had fully intended to hang Mordecai upon, and instead he is hung on it along with his family.

A new decree is issued by Mordecai, who has now been promoted to second in command; that all of the Jews could now defend themselves against any attackers.  The first decree could not be rescinded, so the new one allowed for their self defense and subsequently the Jewish people won a great victory over their enemies.

The Feast of Purim will be celebrated this year on March 4-5, 2015 in commemoration of that great victory.  As the story of Esther, or the Megillah is read, each time the name of  Haman is spoken, which occurs 54 times, the people shake rattles, or stamp their feet to drown out the horrid name, so that his name is forever wiped out of history. There are many things that are done during this feast that today’s Jewish people do as part of the commemoration: they attend the public reading of the Megillah; they send gifts of food to friends; they give to charities for the poor; and the eat a festive meal.

It is always a good time to read the Book of Esther, because it reminds Jews and Christians that our God avenges us of anyone who has done us wrong and He makes it right.  Amen.

Second ‘Blood Moon’ tetrad during October 8 early morning hours

October 8 2014 blood moonThe second of the four ‘Blood Moon’ tetrads that were announced last year will be viewable on October 8 during the early morning hours.  Whether or not these are indicative of the soon arrival of the Messiah, or Yeshua Ha Mashiach is unclear at this time.  However, the Scriptures are clear on one issue, which is that every Christian should be ready to receive their Messiah at any hour of any day.  Nevertheless, it is still rather exciting to ponder these thoughts that at some time possibly in the very near future, the heavenly shofar will be sounding and the King of kings will be standing in the clouds beckoning His people to rise up and join Him.

Luke 21:28

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

According to Pastor Hagee and NASA there will be a total of four blood moon occurrences: the first one was on April 15, 2014, which was also the beginning of Passover; the next one will be on October 8, 2014, in the early morning hours. This will be on the Feast of Tabernacles, which is a feast that Israel kept to signify the Lord God being present with them in a personal way, thus tabernacling with them.  Hence faithful Jewish people would build little lean-to’s and sit in them so that they could experience the presence of the Lord.  The third blood moon will occur on Passover April 4, 2015; and finally, the fourth blood moon in this Tetrad will happen on September 28, 2015.  As Pastor John Hagee stated in 2013 “that these happenings occurring is what is known as a Blood Moon Tetrad; it is beyond the null hypothesis of probability.”

The last ‘Blood Moon’ that this writer witnessed, which was on April 15, 2014 was indeed a soft red in color since the sun’s rays were being blocked by the earth passing between the sun and moon.  Quoting myself:

This writer also found it remarkable that a light breeze was blowing, though it was very cold, and the chimes on a nearby house were playing.  In the awesome quiet of this early morning hour with the lunar eclipse turning blood red in the sky, it was as if the chimes were singing their own song of praise to the Creator of the universe. Shortly thereafter, the birds began to sing as well.  It was totally awe inspiring this morning.

This writer is looking forward to being a witness to this second ‘blood moon’ tetrad and to see the awesome sights that the Lord Creator will be displaying this time.  In my last article, this writer had viewed a video that had been produced by Evangelist, Anita Fuentes had listed some remarkable timelines concerning this two-year, Jewish Feast centered, celestial happenings:

The blood moon on April 15, 2014 is in the sign of Virgo, which represents not only the Mother of Christ but the Bride of Christ as well.  The blood moon that will happen on October 8, 2014 will be in the sign of Pisces, which is represented by two fishes; which also represents the two houses of Israel.  Then again it will repeat during the Passover on April 4, 2015 and the Feast of Tabernacles on September 28, 2015.  But even more importantly, on Adar 29 or March 20, 2015 there will be a ‘Sackcloth Sun’ which will also be in the sign of Pisces.

The fact that these four blood moons will be occurring on two of Israel’s feasts in 2014 and 2015 is phenomenal.  It was recorded during the years of 1493-1494 when Spain fell; the Jews were expelled on the 9th of Av, which is known as the ‘Narrow Straits’; as well as being the date that the Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed…both times; and Columbus discovered America.  Then in 1949-1950 after Israel became a nation and the last one was in 1967-1968 during Israel’s Six Day War.  It seems that when these blood moon tetrads occur, there is a coinciding of happenings of great world events also occurring during these periods.  Currently, ISIS or ISIL has been threatening non-Muslim believers with annihilation, beginning with Israel. The middle east has been in an uproar, namely with Hamas attacking Israel, before these four ‘blood moon’ tetrads even began and definitely now during their occurrences.  Coincidence?

Is God, the Creator of the Universe trying to get our attention?  Many say ‘yes’, and this writer being a faithful disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, says ‘yes’ as well.  Let’s look at some of the Scriptures.

Luke 21:25-28

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;  Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.  And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.  And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Well the signs in the heavens have certainly been happening and there will be two more blood moons which will conclude on September 28, 2015.  But in the middle of these four blood moons the sun will be darkened on Adar 29 or March 20, 2015.  Let us now look at

Matthew 24:29-33

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:  And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.  And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.  Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:  So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

This writer believes that everyone should be watching intently to see what happens over the course of the next 12 months and if you are not saved by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, this would be an auspicious moment to ask the Lord Jesus Christ to be your personal Lord and Savior.  The Scriptures declare in

Romans 10:9-13

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.  For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Rosh Ha Shana begins tonight at sundown, Sept. 24

Tonight begins the Jewish feast of Rosh Ha Shana, or the Head of the Year, which simplyRosh Hashana by enjoyfestivals.com means the New Year.  In Biblical times, Israel began its civil new year on Rosh Ha Shana and a new Feast year at Passover.  This time of celebration begins with a series of three Fall Feasts, beginning with the celebration of the Head of the Year which leads into the Days of Awe and then culminates in Yom Kippur, otherwise know as the Day of Atonement.

Rosh Ha Shana is a time of great celebration and the sounding of the Shofar was heard throughout Israel and wherever the scattered tribes of Israel lived throughout the centuries.

Leviticus 23:23-25

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,  Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.  Ye shall do no servile work: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord.

After this feast begins the Days of Awe as stated above after the Head of the Year celebration.  This is to usher in thoughts of repentance and asking humbly for forgiveness for all of our mistakes.  This lasts for ten days, after which, the third Fall Feast begins, Yom Kippur.  Christians celebrate these Fall Feasts by placing Y’shua ha Mashiach at the center of our thoughts and keeping Him as the central focus.  It was the coming of the Messiah and His sacrificial death as the final atonement; seeing that Yeshua came as the Lamb of God.  He made it available for our sins, transgressions and iniquities to be removed as we plead the Holy Blood of our Messiah, which has been eternally placed on the Mercy seat in Heaven before the One True God.  This indeed is a time of great celebration for God has shown great mercy upon all of His people.

The feast technically begins on the eve of September 24th, since the new day begins at sundown and continues until September 25th at sundown.  According to the Jewish calendar, September 25th is reserved as the second day of Rosh Ha Shana for those that live outside of Israel. Some Scriptures that you can read are:

Genesis 21:1-34
Numbers 29:1-6
1 Samuel 1:1 – 2:10
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

So today at sundown, let us begin a joyful celebration, whether you can physically hear the blowing of a Shofar or not, let the spiritual Shofar be heard in your spirit as we look to our God for all of the wonderful things that He has brought to pass as He is fulfilling all of these great Feasts which will culminate with the arrival of our King and God.

Pentecost – receiving the presence of God

Pentecost - yahooThe Feast of Pentecost was 50 days after Passover and it ushered in the birth of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ when the Holy Spirit fell upon the believers that were present that day as they had been commanded to do by the Lord Jesus.  Biblical tradition cites that this feast is called by the Jews, Shauvott.  The feast of Pentecost is a Greek word indicating that there are 50 days from the time of the Feast of Weeks and Pentecost. The Scriptures clearly state in

Acts 2:1-4

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.  And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.  And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

After this initial outpouring at Pentecost, we as Christians no longer have to wait the 50 days that the Lord Jesus prescribed for His disciples.  This was just an initial waiting period until the promise of the Father was to come down from Heaven, namely the Holy Spirit.  The Lord Jesus knew that for His disciples to stand firm in the face of opposition, that they would need the infilling of the power of the Holy Spirit.  It is no less true today as Christians are facing hostile situations across the globe.  It is this abiding and ever-present presence of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords that keeps the Christian from wavering in their faith.

Many Christians sometimes still mistakenly believe that they have to wait for the Holy Spirit to come to them.  However, when you believe that God has raised up His Son from the grave and you believe in your heart and you confess this with your mouth, the Holy Spirit immediately comes to indwell your spirit and you once again are open to hearing from God as He speaks to your spirit.  It is the Holy Spirit that is the conduit for this verbal transaction from God to creature.  After the Holy Spirit comes to indwell with His presence, you have now experienced being ‘born again.’  This process of being ‘born again’ is necessary because the first couple, Adam and Eve, disobeyed God and they lost the presence of the Holy Spirit and they died that very day.  They didn’t die physically, but they died spiritually and this is why we needed a Savior to pay for our sins.  This is why God was going to send the promise. What was this promise?  The promise was the Holy Spirit once again coming to dwell with mankind; to those who choose to believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

In the Scriptures, fire is used to denote the very presence of God and it also is used to signify great power.  We see this in:

Exodus 13:21

And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud to lead them the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, to go by day and night.

But beyond this, in the OT, the Hebrew word for ‘breath’ or ‘wind’ is ruach, which is also used to indicate spirit.  In this case however, it was not just a ‘spirit’, but the Holy Spirit Himself.  So what significance does the tongues of fire have for today’s Christian?  While that powerful display was a one-time phenomena, the imagery of the fire, or God’s presence covering the disciples’ heads also lends itself to today’s church.  In that we also as born-again children of God also are blessed with the covering of God’s presence through His Holy Spirit.  The imagery of the rushing, mighty wind lends itself to the knowledge that Yeshua, the Christ still wields His power and authority over the natural earth realm as well as the heavenly, as He sits enthroned with His Father in heaven.
If you haven’t asked the Lord Jesus to be your personal Lord and Savior as of yet, and you would like to Get a Life, confess Him as your Lord and Savior and you will experience the new birth for yourself.

The first of the four blood moons – a tetrad

The first of the four blood moons that has been cosmologically noted by NASA occurred around 3:00 a.m. CDT this morning, April 15, 2014. This writer was up at 4:11 a.m. watching the stellar display in God Almighty’s heaven. According to Pastor Hagee and NASA there will be a total of four blood moon occurrences: the first one being this morning, April 15, 2014, also the beginning of Passover; the next one will be on October 8, 2014 which will be on the Feast of Tabernacles; the third blood moon will occur once again on Passover April 4, 2015; and finally, the fourth blood moon in this Tetrad will happen on September 28, 2015. As Pastor John Hagee stated “that these happenings occurring in what is known as a Blood Moon Tetrad is beyond the null hypothesis of probability.”

The Blood Moon that this writer witnessed was indeed a soft red in color since the sun’s rays were being blocked by the earth passing between the sun and moon. This writer also found it remarkable that a light breeze was blowing, though it was very cold, and the chimes on a nearby house were playing. Shortly thereafter, the birds began to sing as well. It was totally awe inspiring this morning.

Interestingly, a video produced by Evangelist, Anita Fuentes lists some remarkable timelines: the blood moon on April 15, 2014 is in the sign of Virgo, which represents not only the Mother of Christ but the Bride of Christ as well. The blood moon that will happen on October 8, 2014 will be in the sign of Pisces, which is represented by two fishes; which also represents the two houses of Israel. The fact that these four blood moons will be occurring on two of Israel’s feasts in 2014 and 2015 is phenomenal and has only been recorded before during the years of 1493-1494 when Spain fell; the Jews were expelled; and Columbus discovered America. Is God, the Creator of the Universe trying to get our attention? Many say ‘yes’, and this writer being a faithful disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, says ‘yes’ as well. Let’s look at some of the Scriptures and they too cannot be ignored.

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Well the signs in the heavens have certainly been happening and there will be three more blood moons which will conclude on September 28, 2015.

Of course, there are some Christians sects that say that the foregoing Scripture refers only to the fall of Jerusalem which the Lord Jesus prophesied would happen in 70 A.D. However, there are many other Christians that believe that there are also what is called ‘double prophecies’ in the Scriptures; in other words, it happened once and it will happen again. Because if we conclude that these Scriptures are over and done with, then what happened to the 1000 year millennial reign of the Lord Jesus Christ? By that foregong timeline, His millennial reign would have ended sometime in the 10th or early 11th centuries if you state that it all occurred in 70 A.D. This is why the belief in a double prophecy theory has validity since there are not any records of a sole King that has ruled the entire world with goodness and mercy; there have been attempts to set up world wide dictatorships, but never a world wide theocracy.

This writer believes that everyone should be watching intently to see what happens over the course of the next 18 months and if you are not saved by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, this would be an auspicious moment to do so. The Scriptures declare in

Romans 10:9-15

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
